Consultation Appointments

A single appointment for you to tell us about your circumstances and discuss how we can help you. If it is agreed that Relate counselling or therapy might be helpful, we will discuss when you can come for regular counselling.

Adult Relationship Counselling

If you are having problems and want to work them out, we can help you make a decision about what to do. Your counsellor will help you talk openly.

Telephone Counselling

Apply to this service if you cannot reach one of our premises or if you and your partner are in different locations. However, you will benefit more through face to face counselling.

Adult Sexual Therapy

Our therapists are trained to help you with a sexual problem and will design a treatment programme for you.

Relate Family Counselling

If your family is trying to cope with a difficult situation, trying to cope as an extended family, parents and children not getting along or unresolved conflicts, we can help you to resolve your differences together. You can see a specially trained Relate Family Counsellor on your own, just with a few family members, or with the whole family together. We will not take sides or tell you what to do and your counsllor will encourage each person to have

a voice.

Relateen - Young Persons Counselling (age 11-18)

A specially trained young persons counsellor can help if you are having worries or difficulties coping with the breakdown of your parents' relationship.

Courses

Contact us to find out about our Parenting Skills Courses to help you improve your relationship with your child and manage difficult behaviour. Also contact us about courses on Marriage Preparation, Moving on after Separation and Relationship Education in Schools.

NB: We do not give legal, medical or financial advice

In order to keep our service to clients available, we have to find around £4000 each week to maintain everything from the fabric of the buildings, to the heating and support staff costs, before we consider the continuous costs of training and supporting the counsellors.

We aim to be available to all. As a charity with very limited resources, we have a constant need to recover the shortfall in our finances.
